Michael Garenani
Michael Is A Graduate Of Cornell University With Latin Honors, where he double majored In Biological Sciences And Nutritional Sciences. Professionally, Micahel has experience working in an undergraduate admissions office at a prestigious research university. Michael’s experiences of gaining admission to an ivy league university himself, as well as his experience working in an admissions office provides him with a unique and valuable perspective that he brings to his college essay coaching program. Although his own admissions experiences were successful in the sense that he was admitted into Cornell, he felt overwhelmed and misinformed during the entire process. Now, as a college planning coach, Michal is on a mission to make sure that all families walk into the college admissions game with the confidence that he wishes that he had.

Many students enter the college essay writing process thinking that they do not have a story or an idea that would make for a strong college essay. Every time that a student has told us that, they have ended up being wrong. With the right brainstorming exercises and planning, any student can put together an authentic and compelling narrative.

Many college essay coaches bill families per hour, or sell essay packages that only include a certain numbers of hours of support. We think that this practice hurts students because it forces them to cram, what should be a thoughtful process, into whatever number of hours are included in their packages. The Common App has a section where students are able to cite their extracurricular involvement. Additionally, some programs ask for traditional resumes on top of this. As part of this service, we will work with your student to format these items in a compelling and well organized fashion.
Final eyes essay revisions
Some students opt to work independently for the bulk of their essay writing experience. In these cases, we can work with them after their essay is drafted to make sure that it is prepared for submission.
